Edge of the Earth Adventure
Our premium quad tour! You will venture deep into bushland to find the pristine and secluded beach at Cape Kersaint - one of Australia’s top 100 surf beaches. Here, where dramatic cliffs, crashing waves and turquoise waters collide, your footprints are likely to be the only ones in the sand. Knowing there is nothing but the wild Southern Ocean between you and Antarctica, you really will feel like you’re on the edge of the Earth! The riding on this extreme adventure is more technical and covers a wider range of terrain but is still suitable for any experience level as instruction is provided throughout the tour.
Kayak hire
Kayak on up to five kilometres of the calm and meandering Harriet River in Vivonne Bay. With up to 4 hours hire, you will have plenty of time to relax, identify local flora, look for koalas in the trees, watch the birds and the bream jump out of the river as you paddle past. It's the perfect way to relax with a partner or friend, and enjoy the peacefulness of Kangaroo Island.
Sandboarding/Tobogganing (Unlimited use during Little Sahara's opening hours daily 9-5)

These activities can be done on one day or split over several days if you prefer. When making your booking please let us know your preferred start times for both your Quad Tour and Kayak hire.
Quad tour: For the Edge of the Earth adventure please bring a camera, long pants, closed shoes and a sense of adventure. The tour starts with getting the safety gear on and then meeting your experienced guide for a safety briefing.
Kayak hire: we will gear you up with life jackets, back rests and paddles at our Jetty Road location. From there we will guide you to the launch site on Harriet River, with a picturesque view of the river meeting the ocean. If you haven't been kayaking before, don't worry! Your experienced guide will give you all the skills you need and assist you in launching your kayaks into the water.
